The Design
Whether grazing the stone on the façade of your home, up-lighting a small Japanese Maple or putting a fixture high up in your Oak tree to get shadow play on the ground, it is the passion of the lighting designer working with the awesome talents of Mother Nature that can create an evening landscape that will offer you all year round tranquility. The eye wants to see our environment; a properly lit garden offers a sense of calm that is similar to watching a fire or listening to the sound of waves. The common misconception is that landscape lighting is only for the summer months. This is not true; our seasons offer us more exotic lighting effects with Mother Nature’s ever changing landscape.

The LUNA 5 Step Process
Gather information about your space and your lifestyle.
First visit we walk through the property with you. How do you live in your space? What are some of the important views of your garden? Are there special features to be incorporated into the design? How do you want to control the light.
Design* the lighting system that will give you a magical space.
There is an element of functionality such as task lighting and security lighting which is crucial to safety. Good lighting design will incorporate safety while never losing the overall design aesthetic. LUNA is a member of the Dark Sky Association. Properly designed lighting systems will actually minimize light pollution.
*There is a minimal fee charged to write up the /Quote. (This fee is deducted if you go ahead with the plan)
Installation of your system is done by professionals.
We are the last contractors to be in your space therefore we are careful about plant material and sod. Conduit is used for all garden bed wiring and any vulnerable areas.
Aiming the light.
Not until dark can we make the changes, no matter how small, that will make subtle differences to the overall design.
Documention of the design.
Upon completion the homeowner is left with a detailed wire run. This spread sheet tells you exactly the number of wire runs, the fixtures used and the lamp used for each fixture and it’s location. This is an invaluable tool for any future maintenance or changes.
